Yes it’s true, Handmade in Britain will be launching a book in Autumn 2011 showcasing 100 of the most talented British designer-makers. Not only will the book showcase the designer’s work but it will also give a personal insight to each individual designer-maker’s inspirations, ideas, philosophy and their creative lives. The book  launched prior to the London Olympics will also be sold during the games to highlight and showcase British Craftsmanship to a worldwide audience. Are you a designer that would like to be featured or is there a designer you would like to see in the book? Get in touch for further details

Handmade in Britain - Highlights Chelsea 2010

Handmade in Britain returned for the 4th time to their most favorite venue Chelsea Old Town HallLondon (27th – 30th October 2010). The show was visited by The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Maighread Condon – Simmonds alongside other well known faces such as Channel 4 news reader Jon Snow and editors from national and local press.

The popularity of Handmade in Britain is growing as more people are aware of the show and value our efforts to promote and support British Designer-makers.

Despite the financial crisis which has taken Britain by storm, the right people walked through the door who not only bought but also commissioned several designers for Xmas gifts. We received an excellent feedback from the visitors this year for the standard of the work at the show.

This year the show was supported by Eat Natural who provided their delicious healthy bars for the visitors and  Megan's Restaurant in Kings Road who provided mouth watering canapés  for the private view evening guests.

For those of you who could not attend the show this year, here are some visual highlights from the private view evening.

If you attended our show, please let us know what did you think of the show as your feedback and continued support is extremely valuable to us.
